Corrections & Editorial Standards
Our commitment is absolute accuracy. When we fall short, we correct the record clearly and promptly. This page explains how we verify facts, how to request a correction, who makes editorial decisions, and how we fund our work.
Corrections Policy
Accuracy is our first obligation. If we publish an error, we fix it promptly and visibly.
How to Request a Correction
Email [email protected] with:
- Article URL and headline
- The exact passage to review (copy/paste)
- Your proposed correction and supporting source(s)
We review every request. If a correction or clarification is warranted, we will update the story and add a note.
How We Correct
- Correction — a factual error is fixed; we add a dated note at the top or bottom of the article.
- Clarification — accurate but potentially misleading wording is refined; a note explains what changed.
- Update — new material is added to advance the story; we timestamp the update.
Editorial Standards
Our newsroom follows a clear recipe to minimize bias and show our work.
- Two sides, minimum: Major stories present at least two credible narratives, written fully from within each perspective, plus an overlooked “silent story.”
- Sources you can verify: We link to primary documents (transcripts, filings, datasets) and reputable outlets such as Reuters, AP, and BBC.
- Fact-check pass: Dates, quotes, names, and numbers are verified before publish; charged labels are attributed to speakers.
- Updates & context: We timestamp meaningful updates and avoid stealth edits.
- Reader agency: We invite readers to weigh both narratives and form their own third view.

FAQ: Corrections & Sourcing

A correction fixes a factual error. A clarification adds context to accurate but potentially misleading wording.
Do you link to primary sources?
Yes. We prioritize government documents, transcripts, court filings, official data, and then reputable outlets such as Reuters, AP, BBC.
