Why I Started 3Narratives

Two sides. One story. You make the third.

In February 2020, the NHL announced it would cancel hockey.

That moment hit me like a puck to the chest—not because I’m a massive hockey fan, but because I realized the pandemic, which had been spreading through Asia and then Europe, had reached our doorstep. Everything I had built was about to collapse.

A Family to Feed and a Dream on the Line

I had no savings left, and daily loan payments were piling up. I was all in on my business. But more importantly, I was responsible for two boys at home, my wife, and still paying child support for my other son’s mother.

I went to my lender and told them I could no longer pay. They were kind, but within a month, the world shut down. And so did our income.

Out of desperation, I built a startup called HelperOS.com—a way for people to ask for help and others to offer it. But within a week, Facebook launched something similar. My idea was dead. And my fridge was empty.

Then, a friend bought one of my photography services. That $380 put food on the table until the government stepped in with support for small business owners like me.

At First, I Believed

Despite all the uncertainty, I supported our government’s response. I believed we were doing the right thing. But about a year in, something started to feel… off.

The vaccines weren’t working as promised. Trusted professors were raising legal and ethical concerns about vaccine passports. Doctors who spoke out were being silenced or threatened with losing their licenses.

I began to see a disturbing pattern: the mainstream media, which I had always respected, was only platforming one narrative. Not necessarily the truth—just the version they chose to tell.

But the “Alternative” Media Wasn’t the Answer Either

I turned to independent media sources, only to find something else: fear-mongering, echo chambers, and ideological pressure. They weren’t offering the balance they claimed. They were pushing their own version of the truth.

That’s when I realized something important:

We don’t need “unbiased” media. We need to hear both sides, so we can make up our own minds.

The Birth of 3Narratives

For months, I hoped someone else would build a platform that told both sides of a story. A place where people could form their own conclusions, not be force-fed opinions.

Then, in March—while facing another business threat, this time from AI-generated headshots—I turned to ChatGPT and wrote the business plan myself.

And that’s how 3Narratives was born.

Two sides. One story.
You make the third.

If This Resonates with You…

Stick around. Read. Share. Question everything.

Because truth isn’t owned by one side—it lives in the conversation.

Let’s keep that conversation alive.

Conclusion

3Narratives stands out as a platform that empowers readers by providing access to multiple perspectives, reducing bias, and fostering dialogue. Its relevance is evident in today’s polarized media landscape, offering a space where users can break free from echo chambers and form their own truth. As of May 17, 2025, it remains a vital resource for those seeking balanced information and community engagement, aligning with your vision of keeping the conversation alive.
